Privacy policy

OttoAds is operated by Foremore Distribution LLC in the United States. This policy covers the standalone OttoAds service at ads.ottoboard.com. Contact us about privacy or support at tm@trysutter.com.

Information we handle

• Sign-in and access: your Facebook user ID and name, essential session information, the permissions you grant, and the business, ad-account and Page identifiers and access information needed to verify what you may use.
• Advertising work: the campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, performance information and other account information you authorize us to retrieve; media you supply; ad copy, destinations, tracking parameters, settings, drafts and saved templates. Comment information is accessed only when the required permission and feature are available.
• Service records: encrypted Meta access tokens, upload and review receipts, job status, essential security and operational logs, and messages you send to support. Please do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary personal information by email.

We receive information from you, your use of OttoAds, and Meta through the permissions and account access you authorize. Access is currently restricted to verified members of the operator's own Meta business. Connecting does not give you access to another person's private OttoAds workspace.

How we use it

We use information to sign you in, verify access to advertising assets, operate your private workspace, prepare and carry out your reviewed advertising requests, display available reporting, preserve operation receipts, resolve uncertain upload outcomes, prevent misuse and provide support. Saving a draft does not itself authorize an upload.

We do not sell Meta Platform Data or use it to advertise unrelated products to you. We do not send your media or Meta account information to a generative AI service as part of the OttoAds workflow.

Providers and disclosures

We use Vercel to host the service and store workspace files in private Blob storage, and Neon to store service identity and database records. These providers process information to deliver the infrastructure we use. Information may be processed where their infrastructure operates. We send the media, creative information and instructions needed for actions you authorize to Meta. Meta also handles information under its own policies and terms.

Access within our operation is limited to people who need it to run the service or handle a support, security or legal matter. We may disclose information when a valid legal obligation requires it. Our written procedure requires review of a government request's legality, challenging or narrowing unlawful or excessive requests, minimizing any disclosure, and recording the decision. We may also disclose information with your direction or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service in accordance with applicable law.

Storage and retention

We retain saved workspace information, original media and operation history while needed to provide the workspace you request. Original media does not have an automatic 30-day expiration. You can request deletion at any time. Essential security records or information subject to a valid legal preservation requirement may need a separate, limited retention period.

A deletion request revokes workspace access and sessions and cancels further queued work. Erasure can remain pending while an already-sent or uncertain advertising request is reconciled or private storage is cleared. We keep an opaque deletion confirmation and status record so you can check completion. See data deletion for the available methods and what deletion covers.

Security and your choices

We use server-side access controls, encrypted stored Meta tokens, private file storage and scoped account checks. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Essential session cookies support sign-in and access protection.

You can manage permissions or remove the app in Facebook's Apps and Websites settings. Removing a stored connection, signing out and deleting your OttoAds data have different effects; signing out alone does not erase your workspace or revoke Meta authorization.

To request access, correction, a copy or deletion of your information, or ask about rights that apply where you live, email tm@trysutter.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before handling the request. We will explain any applicable legal limitation rather than claiming a request is complete when it is still pending.
